Walk #1 | April 1 | Retreat Neighborhood #1

We're excited to start over and walk with you all over again - at our later 5:30 PM start time!

MEET-UP LOCATION:

Corner of David Ave & Wave St on the Aquarium side on Weds, April 1 at 5:30PM. We'll get walking after introductions and announcements by 5:40 PM sharp. It'll take us approximately 90 minutes to walk.

ROUTE OVERVIEW:

We'll walk about 3.3 miles through the Retreat neighborhood, covering the streets between David Ave and 14th Street. The route is mostly flat, but some streets have a little elevation gain. In lieu of using the busy Rec Trail, when on Ocean View Blvd, we'll walk on the sidewalk.

PARKING:

Limited! The Aquarium closes at 5:00 PM, so we should miss the mass exodus, but still give yourself time to park. We recommend parking along Central, Eardley, and Ocean View Blvd in free two-hour parking spots. Avoid the Andronico's parking lot where they ticket and tow.

RUNGO APP:

We use an app called RunGo to create the walking routes and navigate in real time. Check out our stories and highlights if you'd also like to use the RunGo link. RunGo will allow you to review the directions and use turn-by-turn live navigation from your phone.🤸‍♀ While it’s certainly helpful if you familiarize yourself with the route via RunGo, we will navigate the route for you. You can show up, and we’ll lead the way!
